Patient Care Guides
Helping patients and carers through their CAR T therapy journey
In partnership with the Northern Alliance Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre (NA-ATTC) consortium, we have launched a comprehensive guide to help patients and carers through their CAR T therapy journey.
The Guide is intended for people who are either considering enrolling in or are already enrolled in a CAR T cell therapy clinical trial. It has been developed to be agnostic to an individual trial or CAR T product. Patients and caregivers are provided with support via education and advice throughout the whole treatment journey whilst also providing a teaching aid for clinical staff managing CAR T clinical trials.
Within the guide you will find:
- General information about CAR T cell therapy clinical trials
- An explanation of how CAR T cell therapy works
- What can be expected during each step of the process
- Information about side effects
- Information specifically for carers
- Guidance on how and where to find support
